The financial institution Scotiabank began years ago to improve its technological platform worldwide. In this context,
the subsidiaries in each country would have to take all their technology components to the cloud, in order to achieve economies of scale and efficiency improvements.
When this process began in Uruguay, it was found that some systems were based on obsolete platforms that could not be migrated to the cloud due to compatibility or security problems.
Pyxis Dev conducted a proof of concept with more modern technologies so that the system could be hosted on the new global platform and cybersecurity issues could be avoided.
A new possible flexible architecture for Scotiabank’s services was tested, more aligned to time to market, which would allow services to be deployed in a more agile way and facilitate the scaling of these services.
